Petroc College specialises in teaching vocational courses and they needed a fully functional teaching restaurant to enable their students to develop their catering and ‘front of house’ skills.
Westcountry Group were delighted to be selected to design and install a stunning response to the brief which incorporated several different typical hospitality settings that the students could expect to experience including coffee areas, fine dining and informal banquette seating.
Result
The finished result is exactly what the College wanted and has proved to be a great success with the subtle natural tones perfectly complementing the semi-rural setting and the extensive first floor views over the North Devon countryside.
Bespoke dining screens help to zone the areas and give a life-like environment in which the students can hone their customer facing expertise.
The restaurant is used frequently to support other events taking place on campus including providing top quality food for the public.
