Having a furniture supplier with an interior design service proved invaluable when creating a new suite of offices and reception area in our beautiful listed building. Consideration was given throughout the journey to the history of the College and our ethos. Feedback from visitors, parents and staff have been really positive. The end result is that we now have a professional, inviting, warm and welcoming experience for all those who come through the door! A new staff room facility was also created at the same time offering a fresh new relaxation space for the staff during their well-earned breaks.

In keeping with the deep and rich heritage and quintessentially British style of Queen’s College, Westcountry Group were appointed to deliver a full refurbishment of the reception, offices, Head’s office, and staffroom.

Our solution

It was paramount that the expert interiors team made these spaces warm and inviting, yet professional. The project included new flooring, soft furnishings, lighting, wall & ceiling redecoration and reception desks and coffee tables.

Result

The emblem wall features work well to symbolise the long-standing history of the school and the added design touch is a great representation of the culture and tradition. The interior flows seamlessly throughout, with intricate details linking each element together. The newly refurbished reception and Head’s office now give all guests and visitors a warm welcome and a memorable first impression of the prestigious school.
