Their requirements
Like many schools, St Stephens dining hall was just too noisy, meaning lunchtimes weren’t as controlled and restful as they should be. Furthermore, space and storage were an issue in the multi-use hall, so the staff there turned to the problem solvers!
Our solution
Our design team came up with bespoke-designed acoustic panelling to fit the barrelled ceiling which not only soaks up sound but looks great too. We also supplied our space-saving Benchmark tables to help free up the hall.
Results
The school can now seat up to 140 students on just 7 Benchmark tables, which store in next-to-no space. The addition of acoustic panels have helped to reduce noise reverberation and create a more controlled and relaxed dining experience.
